Admission Requirements

Student admission to the Primary Teacher Education Program is carried out in accordance with the current national legislation, the regulations of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), and the decisions of the Senate of Süleyman Demirel University.

In terms of academic qualifications, candidates are required to have graduated from secondary education institutions affiliated with the Ministry of National Education (MEB) or to hold a high school diploma or an equivalent certificate from a secondary education institution recognized as equivalent by YÖK. For national candidates, the basic admission requirement is obtaining the necessary minimum score in the relevant score type (Equal Weight – EA) of the Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) administered by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) and being placed into the program quota through the centralized placement system.

For candidates applying from abroad or those evaluated under international status, the admission requirements are determined within the framework of YÖK regulations and the international student admission guidelines of Süleyman Demirel University. In this context, such candidates are expected to hold an equivalent high school diploma and to meet the additional academic and language proficiency conditions announced by the university.
