Current Status and Academic Structure

The program is an undergraduate program focused on primary teacher education, conducted under the Department of Basic Education within the Faculty of Education. The academic staff comprises faculty members who are specialists in primary teacher education, basic education, and educational sciences, demonstrating high scientific productivity and classroom teaching experience. Currently, the program employs two professors, two associate professors, one assistant professor, and two research assistants. In addition to teaching at the undergraduate level, this academic team contributes to the field through national and international research projects, scientific publications, and community service practices.

The academic structure is organized in a model that is open to interdisciplinary collaboration, representing sub-disciplines such as subject-specific pedagogy in primary teacher education, curriculum and instruction, measurement and evaluation, educational psychology, guidance, special education, and educational technologies. This structure aligns with the goals emphasized in the Twelfth Development Plan, including the cultivation of qualified human resources, a university culture focused on research and innovation, and the strengthening of university-school cooperation.
