Degree Awarded

Students who graduate from the program and successfully complete all academic, professional, and applied competencies are entitled to receive a "Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Teacher Education". By virtue of their subject matter knowledge, pedagogical formation, assessment and evaluation, classroom management, digital competence, and school experience, graduates attain the professional qualification to serve as "Primary School Teachers" in official and private educational institutions affiliated with the Ministry of National Education (MEB), teaching at the 1st–4th grade levels of primary school.

Graduates who complete the undergraduate program hold Level 6 (Bachelor’s) qualifications within the scope of the Turkish Qualifications Framework. Provided they meet the necessary conditions, they have the opportunity to advance through the teacher career stages to the titles of "Expert Teacher" and "Head Teacher". Furthermore, graduates may pursue academic careers by continuing to graduate programs (master’s and doctorate) in educational sciences, primary education, child development, and related disciplines. They may also find employment opportunities in fields such as educational publishing, educational technologies, measurement and evaluation, educational content development, and educational consultancy.
