Graduation Requirements

Graduation requirements are defined as follows in accordance with national legislation, Level 6 requirements of the TYYÇ, and the SDÜ undergraduate education and training regulations:

Students are required to successfully complete a total course load of 240 ECTS, comprising compulsory and elective courses as well as subject-specific pedagogy, general culture, teaching profession knowledge, and field-based practices.
Within the framework of the university’s grading system, students must have obtained at least the minimum passing grade (at least DC or its equivalent as defined in the relevant regulation) as determined by the Senate in all registered courses.
Field and practice components, such as Teaching Practice, School Experience, and Community Service Practices, must be successfully completed in accordance with the performance indicators and evaluation criteria defined in the respective course syllabi.
Students are expected to fulfill all other academic and administrative obligations (attendance requirements, internship/practice reports, mandatory examinations and documentation, if any) as determined by the Senate of Süleyman Demirel University.
Students who fully meet these conditions are entitled to receive the "Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Teacher Education" at Level 6 of the Turkish Qualifications Framework (TYYÇ) and to graduate with the relevant professional competencies
