Transition to Higher Education

Graduates of the program may apply to thesis or non‑thesis master’s programs in Educational Sciences, Primary Education, Child Development, and other related fields, provided they meet the specific conditions (ALES, undergraduate grade point average, foreign language proficiency, etc.) set by YÖK and university senates for the respective programs. Graduates who successfully complete their master’s education may proceed to doctoral programs related to their fields, thereby advancing their academic careers and progressing to Level 7 and Level 8 qualifications within the scope of the Turkish Qualifications Framework (TYYÇ).

Through graduate education, graduates may take positions in academic roles such as research assistants, lecturers, and faculty members at universities; in educational policy, curriculum development, and measurement and evaluation units of the Ministry of National Education (MEB) and other public institutions; in education departments of local governments and the private sector; and as researchers, specialists, trainers, or consultants in educational projects of non‑governmental organizations. Furthermore, they can diversify their career opportunities by leveraging their graduate‑level competencies in fields such as educational technologies, educational publishing, learning design, and educational consultancy.
